Alaska

It is the largest state of the USA by area. Situtated in the northwest extremity of the N. American continent. The Alaska panhandle also known as southeast Alaska, is home to many of Alaska's larger towns including the state capital Juneau, tidewater glaciers, the many islands and channels of the Alexander archipelago and extensive forests. On an annual basis the panhandle is both the wettest and warmest part of Alaska with milder temperatures in the winter.

Canada-Rockies

A country occupying most of northern North America, extending from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west and northward into the Arctic Ocean. The land occupied by Canada was inhabited for millenia by various groups of aboriginal people. The Rocky mountains, ofthen called the Rockies, are a mountain range in western North America. they stretch more than 4,800 km from northern most British columbia, in Canada to New Mexico in the US. The range's highest peak is Mount Elbert in Colorado at 14,440 feet above sea level. The Rockies are distinct from the Pacific Coast Ranges.

A nice combination trip with Canada and the Rockies would include Banff and Jasper National Parks.
